VELORIA was founded in 2026, in New Mexico, as a small studio for objects that hold attention slowly. The name comes from velum — the Latin word for veil — and aria, for air. Softness, translucence, the way a room receives morning light.

We work in three materials only. Stoneware from a wheel and a slow kiln. Brass folded by hand from a single plate. Belgian linen, washed and rewashed until it forgives. Nothing is plated. Nothing is varnished into stillness. Each piece is meant to wear, soften, and become specific to the room that keeps it.

We do not chase seasons. The catalogue grows in small additions, never replacements. A piece you buy now will remain available — and if it is sold out, it will return.
